Tax break for some couples

I've recently read an article that states

From 2015/16 married couples and civil partners will be able to transfer up to £1,000 of their personal allowance to their partner.

An HMRC spokesman has since confirmed that the department's "current working assumption" is that it will deliver this policy through its end-of-year processes in the first year, but that afterwards, "people will receive [the allowance] through their tax codes"

HM Treasury expects that 4m couples will qualify for the new relief. For 2013/14, some 320,000 people benefit from the married couple's allowance'

No who wouldn't want that!
